Later, we received a phone call from the Oswestry Museum asking if we had found historical artefacts. We collected these together and created labelled drawings. The museum manager was delighted to receive the pieces from the castles history. There were gems, diamonds, a portcullis piece and stained glass from the old windows.

We hope this will bring lots more visitors to the castle and the local museum.
